Role Overview
Designation / RoleAI/ML Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement machine learning and deep learning models for classification, regression, ranking, and sequence tasks.
- Collaborate with data engineering to collect, clean, and transform large-scale datasets for training and evaluation.
- Perform feature engineering, model selection, hyperparameter tuning, and rigorous model evaluation.
- Deploy models to production using scalable architectures and containerized workflows; ensure reliability and low-latency inference.
- Establish and maintain MLOps best practices including CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, automated testing, and model versioning.
- Conduct experiments and A/B tests to validate model improvements and measure business impact.
- Optimize model performance for accuracy, latency, and cost; profile and optimize inference pipelines.
- Document designs, runbooks, and reproducible training pipelines; mentor junior engineers and review code.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, or a related field; PhD preferred for research-focused roles.
- 3+ years of experience building and shipping ML systems in production, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with ML libraries and frameworks.
- Proven experience with model deployment, monitoring, and MLOps practices.
- Solid understanding of statistics, probability, and experimental design.
- Experience with cloud platforms and distributed data processing at scale.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment.
