Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Knowledge Analysts will work with globally distributed GKMs to codify content from practice proposals and projects for contribution to global knowledge base
  • Collaborate with other Knowledge Analysts to centralize and own select knowledge management process steps in an efficient operating model, including
  • Disguise / sanitize and repackage content from client proposals and projects in a manner consistent with Kearney’s professional standards guidelines
  • Track engagement Intellectual Capital (IC) submissions and key findings/outcomes from projects in form of Kearney’s 3-box case study
  • Work with individual senior members in the Knowledge Management team for an extended period to create, update, and maintain the practice knowledge infrastructure, on tasks like
  • Develop and update practice qualifications, case packs and practice member bios.
  • Provide support in updating knowledge intranet portals such as Practice SharePoint, MS Teams repositories etc.
  • Reconcile new documents with existing similar documents to maintain a fresh knowledge base
  • (Note: especially this area has potential for development along personal priorities and interests in practice topics or knowledge process areas)
  • Provide practical support for senior members in the global Knowledge Management team, including ad hoc activities like
  • Create and update standard slides
  • Support posting of documents in databases
  • Create newsletters or intranet news posts based on existing templates and supplied content
  • Research suitable graphics to improve visual appeal of presentation in company database

  • Knowledge and skills requirements
  • Operations & Flexibility: Own and drive work-plan in office as well as remote setting with moderate to low level of supervision. Demonstrate flexibility while working with teams in a global setting, which sometimes may require working non-standard hours
  • Output: Excellent content skills in editing, sanitizing, summarizing and codifying content. Deliver error free work with moderate to low supervision and pay high attention to detail
  • MS Office Proficiency: Comfortable with application of MS-Office toolkit (knowledge of excel functions, creative with usage of PowerPoint)
  • Communication: Communicate confidently and articulately with global audience including senior Kearney staff; can comprehend and contribute during team meetings / updates
  • Service orientation: Excellent customer focus, including proactive responses to stakeholders’ needs with thoughtfulness, commitment, and diligence
  • Problem solving: Good problem-solving skills; significant involvement in helping GKMs and senior practice members to refine and focus on their requests and objectives. Apply business logic/ common sense to solve day-to-day business problems.
  • Relationship building/networking: Ability to utilize networks beyond the Global Knowledge Management community

Education and experience

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate from a tier 1/ tier 2 college from across the country or Master of Business Administration
  • Experience: 18+ months, business experience of preferably working in a professional services / knowledge set up in multicultural environment (6+ months acceptable for MBA candidates and if experience is specifically relevant)
  • Candidates with demonstrated involvement in customized content editing OR knowledge management is a plus
