Sales Manager – Modern Trade

We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Manager – Modern Trade with strong experience in handling modern trade accounts such as key retail chains, supermarkets, hypermarkets, and pharmacy chains. The candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key accounts, executing trade promotions, and expanding product visibility across modern trade platforms.

• Develop and implement modern trade sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual business targets.
• Manage key accounts including retail chains, supermarkets, hypermarkets, and pharmacy chains.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, category managers, and store-level stakeholders.
• Ensure product availability, visibility, and placement across modern trade outlets.
• Plan and execute trade promotions, in-store activations, and marketing campaigns in coordination with the marketing team.
• Negotiate commercial terms, margins, schemes, and promotional budgets with modern trade partners.
• Monitor sales performance, stock movement, and secondary sales across stores.
• Coordinate with supply chain and distribution teams to ensure timely replenishment and minimize stock-outs.
• Track competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market trends within modern trade.
• Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and MIS updates for management review.
• Handle claim settlements, credit notes, and promotional expense tracking with modern trade partners.
• Ensure proper execution of merchandising and branding guidelines in retail outlets.
