  • Reporting To Accounts Manager / Finance Head Job Purpose To independently handle company accounts, ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, and compliance with statutory requirements such as GST, TDS, and audits in a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and supervise day-to-day accounting activities in Tally/ERP, including sales, purchases, journals, payments, receipts, and contra entries.
  • Prepare and finalise monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and ledgers.
  • Perform monthly closing activities, bank reconciliation, debtor–creditor reconciliation, and other general ledger reconciliations.
  • Handle GST (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns), TDS (deduction, payment, returns), and other statutory compliances on time.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors, prepare required schedules, and resolve audit queries.
  • Monitor inventory accounting, costing, and production-related entries for rolling mill/engineering manufacturing operations.
  • Assist in preparing and monitoring budgets, cost analysis, and variance reports against actuals.
  • Prepare various MIS reports for management on sales, expenses, cash/ fund flow, and profitability.
  • Improve and document accounting processes and internal controls to ensure accuracy and prevent leakages.
  • Guide and supervise junior accountants/accounts staff in their day-to-day work. Candidate Profile / Qualifications
  • B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter with a strong accounting background.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in accounts, with at least 3 years at a senior level; experience in steel/engineering/rolling mill or manufacturing industry preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and statutory compliances in India.
  • Proficiency in Tally Prime / ERP system and advanced MS Excel (vlookup, pivot, MIS reports).
  • Good communication skills, accuracy, and attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and lead a small accounts team. Working Conditions
