Role Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily factory operations and ensure production activities are carried out as per plan.
- Allocate work to shop floor workers and monitor their performance.
- Ensure smooth coordination between production, maintenance, quality, stores, and dispatch teams.
- Monitor machine productivity and production targets.
- Check raw material availability and coordinate with purchase and stores for timely supply.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety rules, and company procedures.
- Maintain discipline, attendance, and work punctuality of factory staff.
- Identify production issues and support quick resolution to minimize downtime.
- Prepare daily production reports and submit updates to management.
- Support continuous improvement in efficiency, productivity, and workflow.
- Candidate Profile / Qualifications
- Graduate / Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred.
- 5–10 years of experience in factory supervision, preferably in the manufacturing or engineering industry.
- Good knowledge of production processes and shop floor management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
- Basic computer knowledge and reporting skills preferred.
